This is the best title reboot I've played in ages. Even strong games with their eyes on a trilogy from the outset don't stack up too well against this. The only problem with that is that now another Tomb Raider follow up will be really, really hard to do well enough to outshine this. It was not the hardest game I have ever played, and I do sort of miss the scantily clad Lara, but can forego that easily for the storyline, action and puzzles this version has. I enjoyed it from beginning to end, even going back and polishing up ALL of the challenges and puzzles. Only achievements I mssed were the multiplayer ones, which I am not as fond of any more. But this game delivered on good content, voice over and action. It was pretty linear, and I am absolutely fine with that - I don't always need open-world games where you can easily lose track of what it was you were doing and why you came all the way out to one end of the world. Great game - had a blast playing the different weapon types (the bow being my preferred weapon) and upgrading skills without so much complexity to dilute the experience. Well played, well played.
I love this game. The graphics, game play, story line all scored high. However, my only problem is the multiplayer is boring, the tombs are way too short and generic to me and any DLC that's coming is all multiplayer or skins.
I did by the Adventures tomb DLC for 240 MS points thinking , "well it should be a longer tomb since they had plenty of time since launch to work on one" Wrong!
For 240 MS points I completed the tomb in 10 mins. It should have been 120 MS points for that.
no regrets if you buy or rent this. The stand alone game is worth it
