I really enjoyed this game. It's different from the new tomb raider and plays more like the old style tomb raider I remember as a kid. It's sometimes really challenging, not because it's so hard but because it makes you search large areas for particular things and sometimes the mechanics aren't great. It really forces you to do everything perfectly because if your just a little bit off when your jumping to grab a ledge -you will miss it. I recommend this to tomb raider and uncharted fans. I rate this 3 winged creatures out of 5.
Game play is pretty frustrating. Spend most of the time in the game not solving the puzzles or anything, but just figuring out how to get from one ledge to the next, or swinging from this one thing to another thing etc. The awkward camera angles didn't help either. The story is okay. It was the only reason I soldiered through the game (in hindsight I'm not sure it was worth it). Definitely not on the same level as the Uncharted games
The game was more frustrating than fun for me. The jumping from point to point was very flawed. Some jumps you can look at and think there is no way possible that I can make that jump, but you try it any ways. And there you are on the ledge you were jumping for. And a minute later your character wont jump straight up to grab a ledge 2 feet above her head. And there is so many "stuck" points in random locations threw out the game, where you cant move from the spot your on unless you stop pushing on the joy stick then jump out from that spot.
I realize the game was always more about the view and not the game play but a big lack of attention to game mechanics is just plain pathetic.
