There are not very many games that i rate anymore or even give them a nine. This game is incredible. The animation is great. There haven't been any choppy scenes yet. The color scheme was done well. The controls are easy to pick up. There are no hesitations in the controls.
The game is build like the previous games. puzzles to figure out, enemies to shoot, swimming, climbing, ect... this game is up on the charts for me. if u like the previous tomb raiders then this one will surely spark ur interest.
This game has so much potential but the difficultly in controlling Laura is simply too great. In some locations such as when you are about to leave Thailand and you are trying to navigate across a pit filled with water using your graple, it takes about 50 attempts before you can make the twisting-swinging jump to the opposite platform. The game loses all it's fun factor in these situations and the wasted hours of time going nowhere is very bad. What is the point in programming a game that leads to an extremely high level of frustration that has nothing to do with solving the game puzzles and mazes? The game has great graphics and the story is pretty good. I quit the game in the middle of South Mexico because it was no longer a fun game.
