Yet somehow the old Bond terminology doesn't do justice to Sam Fisher, Splinter Cell for the NSA. This game follows Fisher's journey through a complex plotline and at least four different countries, and all the while you get to make him hang from pipes and silently strangle his enemies from above.
The gameplay, despite the fact that you're mostly out of sight, remains intense throughout, especially when you're forced to improvise something and hit a guard on the temple with a can of Coca-Cola. Hey, it's a living.
The game is mostly stealth oriented, with a little bit of rapid gunfire thrown in to keep you on your toes. Step into the world of a real secret agent and abandon thoughts of morality. They'll only get you killed.
