I'm 15, I've played almost every Splinter Cell game made. From the demo for the first, to the newest content. I pre-ordered this 6 months before release, and every second I had to wait burned like no other pain. When I finally got the game, a few things happened.
1. It had no multi-player, which made me kinda mad, I played the multiplayer for Pandora Tomorrow and loved it.
2. The first two games suffered the test of time. I have both on my LAPTOP and they look better. But being a hardcore Splinter Cell fan, its a pain that I will endure.
3. Chaos Theory = Mindblown. Amazing Graphics, an intelligent AI, and gadgets that would make James Bond jealous. Out of all 3 games, this got the full make over. And with all the delays, I figured that all 3 would be on par with Double Agent and Conviction, but only one stood proud, Chaos Theory.
I may not be a Profesional Critic, but I highly recommend this series who wants to
a. See where Sam Fisher came from
b. have a good time
c. have a challenging experience
d. go back to the roots of stealth gamin
I hope my review helps anyone on the fence about this amazing game.

This game is an excellent value. Three time consuming great stealth games. This series is far better than the Metal Gear Solid series which has a tongue in cheek silliness to it. The Splinter Cell games play in a way most people cant embrace nowadays. It is a slow paced strategy and timing based covert ops game. Its not a run and gun shooter, if your looking for COD this is not it, this is in fact the opposite. But, having these 3 games in a single collection on the PS3 is great. These games were originally made for the last generation of consoles and the graphics hold up pretty good, especially Chaos Theory. The voice acting is top notch and there are some heart pumping moments as well. This is one of those games where you either "get it" or you don't. In an era of mindless run and gun military shooters this game is a nice look back at a series of games that focused on strategy and timing. I personally would have given this a 10 for the overall value of the game and the amount of hours of gameplay but there are 2 issues that i find unacceptable. Frame rate issues are prevalent, which you would think putting a last generation game on a next generation console would not be an issue anymore. The other issue is the cut scenes, they are really blurry and hard to watch because they are being upscaled from the older system resolution. Good thing is you dont really need to watch them and can skip them. But, if you are a fan of solid stealth or want a trip down memory lane with these great games you can't go wrong. Its an awesome value and no one does stealth better than Splinter Cell.

than this trilogy is perfect for you. I been reading the reviews and most people dont like it due to it not looking HD or the invert is out, old classics aren't meant to be remasterd and i could care less about the invert. shoot, im glad its out i hate that, but if your looking for that stealthy feel you had when you were a kid 10 years ago then rent this, you'll be stealing your parents stuff again after even play this for an hour haha
