This game has it all in a first person shooter. the response time from the controller function to the action sequence on the screen is incredible. the controls are easy to get use to. they are not very difficult to use. The look of the game is great. very realistic. The added features like repelling down walls and elevator shafts are cool. i like in the online play that you are able to talk to your team mates and try to execute the correct moves due to communication. I was never a big fan of first person shooters until call of duty 3 and i compare every shooter to that game. rainbow six surpasses call of duty 3. i am very impressed and i would definitely try this game out if i were you.
This game is awesome. There are two main complaints. The first, easily fixable, is that the graphics suck. That's because you're viewing it at 1080i. You need to go into PS3 display settings and set it to not output at 1080i or 1080p so it defaults to 720p. The second, which hopefully will get fixed, is a bunch of online bugs.
The singleplayer is amazing and I'm sure once they patch this the online will be too.
The reason why I wrote eh is mostly because the off line game play is well...eh.... i was able to beat it in one day. And the online gameplay is great if you ignore the 2hr loading screens and the constant fear of being disconnected I mean serousily i can barley play 2-3 games without being disconnected the server has some hugeeeeee issues and from what i heard i'm not the only one having this problem. But the graphics are reat and the AI is on point offline and online this is a must have game but rather you should buy it or not just depends on how much you like this game the flaws and the great things about this game is pretty much the same.
