Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

Okay, first a caveat: Do NOT play this game right after playing Modern Warfare; your brain is not up to the task. Cover is so important in Rainbow Six: Vegas, you will find the learning curve frustratingly steep. But man, this is a good game. It challenges you to think, but think quickly, and playing on realistic difficulty makes for the most difficult but also most satisfying first-person shooter experience I've had in a long time. Levels are fairly linear, but not distressingly so.

All in all, I really enjoyed this game, even when it was driving me just a tad crazy.

I was disappointed to learn that their is no story for local co-op, which took away the appeal when playing with my girlfriend as we are big on co-op games. I especially found the long (and silent) helicopter ride at the beginning of some levels, totally unnecessary, obviously though through single player campaign these rides do have a purpose. It is worth only one playthrough with a friend in my opinion. No reason for a Xbox 360 game to be this primitive.
