If you like Rainbow Six... here's another one

Ding Chavez and the team are back to stop terrorists and peak around corners in the team-based shooter Rainbow Six: Lockdown. Lockdown is very similar to all the other Rainbow Six games which is both it's blessing and curse.
The blessing is that Rainbow Six is a solid series. Lockdown maintains the team-based gameplay, great shooter controls and highly tense action that the series is known for. It even streamlines some of the game mechanics from Rainbow Six 3. For instance, go codes are automatically set once you give your team a command, instead of having to issue one through a menu. Also, you have an actual health bar instead of a heartbeat sensor.
Unfortunately, it also has the curse of being completely unoriginal. It's the same thing we've seen in every iteration of this series. And it's flaws are still prevalent. You constantly get shot from enemies you can't find and some guns are blatantly superior to the rest. Why you would use anything besides the P90, an automatic weapon with maxed accuracy and damage, is beyond me.
Lockdown does have some new issues. For some reason, your enemies will often stare at you at point-blank range for awhile before realizing you intend to kill them and start firing.
It's not that Lockdown is bad, it's just redundant. It doesn't add more to the series and that makes it an average action game.
