Weak

2010 and this game has not aged well.

I am writing this review in 2010 and I can remember playing this game about 4 years ago. I remember enjoying it much more than I did this week. Bottom line is that it feels clunky. The graphics are not aged well and the control system is pretty bad.

Pass this over and wait for Future Soldier.

ghost recon 2 I played first and it was good. this one had uglier uniforms, and everything felt too smooth. it wasn't very realistic.

I only have played one tactical shooter before this game... RSV. Based on that game alone, I thought I didn't really like the tactical shooter genre. But I saw this game in the bargain bin for three bucks, so I picked it up and decided to give this series a try. Glad I did. Compared to RSV, GRAW is a bit faster-paced. Also, the game doesn't turn something as simple as reloading your weapon or ducking for cover into a mini-game just because the devs are trying too hard to make the game fit the bill of a "tactical" shooter. Its an older 360 game, so the graphics aren't that superb. The weapon sound fx are okay, but I never got why I kept hearing a dog barking (for those of you who played it, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about). And there are a few glitches in the game, but I've never had to reload because they were interfering with my gameplay. Besides the basic drawbacks of an older 360 game, lol and the cheesy voice acting, it was good overall and I am actually looking forward to playing the second one. The GRAW series has changed my mind about tactical shooters.

Gamerscore Incentive:
There isn't really any miscellaneous campaign achievements, like weapon or kill achievements. You get them by completing the levels on the normal and hard difficulties. And there are also the co-op achievements and multiplayer achievements.--The multiplayer being pretty much dead. Going through GRAW on normal will nab you about 300 Gamerscore. So if you're looking for a decent older game for a quick (G) boost, this isn't a good one for that.
