Tokyo Beat Down for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

I rented this game about two weeks ago,and I really enjoyed it.I've been looking for a just plain beat-em-up game for the DS,and this was a really good game.The cut scenes were a little cheesy,but bearable.The control scheme was ok,I just wanted a button-masher and this one fit the bill for me.I think I'll be buying this game really soon.I think if you want a decent beat-em-up game,you might try to rent this game.

This game is actually a lot of fun. The story is cheesy in a good way, the dialogue is funny, and the characters are cool. But what bogs down this game is the slow controls. When you are surrounded on all sides by enemies, it's difficult to get your character to turn around quickly, especially when facing enemies with machine guns.

The game is also very difficult, which is good, but the controls make it more difficult than it should be.

In short, if you have a lot of patience, and you don't care about doing a level over and over again from dieing, than this game is for you, but if you are easily frustrated, steer clear!
