Despite the hype for this game, it feel unfortunately short for me. Titans and free running served to add a breath of fresh air to a tired genre of fps multiplayer games, but it was not enough to keep me from drowning in repetitive and lack luster games. The problem for me with Titanfall stemmed from it's excruciatingly small maps and forcibly accelerated gameplay. After playing games like battlefield, where technology rules on massive multiplayer maps that truly draw players into a war like experience. I felt as if I was stuck in a 4v4 match of Halo 2, only instead of warthogs I was given the occasional, rather fragile, Titan. To me, Titanfall was a shiny new package on tired gameplay, and with a lack of story structure or epic scale multiplayer, the game failed to truly hold my interest. Overall I'm glad I didn't spend the money on permanently adding the game to my collection.
