TimeSplitters Future Perfect is by far one of the best first person shooters on the consoles that gives Halo and the Metroid series a run for their money. The campaign mode may not be as in depth as that of Metroid games, but the shining spectacle of this game is its excellent multiplayer mode. There are hundreds of characters to choose from, and the gametypes are simply amazing. My personal favorite was the Assault mode. This mode sets you either on the defense or offense, and depending on what side you are placed on you will have specific objectives. If you are defense, you must defend your base from the offense who is trying to destroy your base piece by piece. The multiplayer mode in TimeSplitters Future Perfect is what kept me playing for hours. It also has a quite detailed Map Creation system. You can create story mode maps or just multiplayer maps, but either way, the mapmaker is another spectacular feature of TimeSplitters. You have many options to choose from including AI, chain events, lighting, item placement, vehicles, and even themes. The entire game kept me wanting more, and each time it delivered. TimeSplitters gets a 9/10 on my list!

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is currently the best first-person shooter available for the Game Cube. Its controls and auto aim feature are somewhat relatable to the great controls of N64's "Golden eye 007".

The story mode is a little dry, but redeems itself with some comic relief. The problem with the story mode is that you will find yourself doing the same types of missions over and over again. Besides that the story mode shows off some cool space-age weapons, as well as some oldies but goodies!

The bosses in the game are almost too easy to beat. The game would be more appealing if the bosses weaknesses weren't visibly displayed by energy meters.

Besides the story mode, the games supplies other games types, such as: Arcade Mode, Challenges, and a great multiplayer selection. Additionally, completing the story mode under different difficulties will allow you to play as various characters. Furthermore, these extras make the game worth buying, if you have buddies to play with!

Overall, I would say that the game is currently the best first-person shooter for Game cube.

Graphics: 7.0 <-- Average Graphics
Controls: 9.0 <-- Great controls, closely match 007
Sound: 7.0 <-- Average Sound
Fun Factor: 8.5 <-- Multiplayer extras!
