This game is the best shooter on the PS2 the story mode is crazy but it could be better without getting lost all the time. The best part on the story mode is the haunted mansion. The challenge mode could of been better though like on brain drain the only way to kill the zombies is to shoot their head off why not just take off points if you don't. Online mode is crazy a chance to play with my friends and school them or us schooling others from around the world. Co-op mode is great now my cousin and I can try to beat the game without getting lost in the mansion. this game should have 2-4 player co-op story play then my friend, cousin, me, and my brother would totally dominate the story in under 2 hours. But on top of all that this is a great game I hope they come out with TS4.

I rented this game on the recommendation of a friend who has TimeSplitters 2 for her GameCube. We played through the single player campaign in co-op mode and had a blast! I would highly recommend it! She said it's not quite as good as the GameCube single player campaign in terms of story, but it was still fun for both of us. Also, the main character acts and talks like a dope, which definitely detracts from the quality of the story, but isn't a show-stopper. Multiplayer modes are fun and very fast-paced. It also includes a map maker tool but I didn't experiment with it much because it seemed very tedious and not really worth my time. But it's there for those that want it!
Overall, I highly recommend this game based on the genuinely fun game play.
This game is one of the best I've played in a long time. The story mode is great although there are a few cheesy moments and it can be a bit frustrating at times, the arcade mode is cool but it could use some work. This is one of the best games i've seen from EA.
