It seems that people forget that this is an old game, and review it next to some of the other shooter games that have come out already. Of course, compared to other shooters that have come out over the past 6 years, this game is not all that great. But, if you haven't played any of the newer shooters like me, this is an excellent game to start with (although I started with Darkwatch and Black.) The game goes all over the globe and time periods with you walking around and blasting anything that moves. For it's time, the graphics aren't too bad, the music sets the mood, and the controls are very responsive. The game shouldn't be picked up by FPS experts, but if you're wanting to get into the genre, this game is great for beginners.

I got this game because it was made by some of the people who made Goldeneye.
The graphics look like it was an N64 game they quickly decided to update to the PS2. The textures are very bad. Some of the music is good and some is mediocre. Also, 1-player mode has a total of 9 levels! I was also dissappointed with simplistic mission objective which is always one, "grab the goal item" and two, "bring it to the checkpoint". Done.
The game is still fun to play. You really have to keep on your toes and be careful how you approach areas. The level designs are interesting too. The multi-player mode has more levels, and there's a (simple) map maker.
Overall, a fun game, but you can't help feeling it's incomplete.
Now, the multiplayer rocks! You can make your own maps easily, and you can also set it to unlimited play! Now that's major fun right there! The weapons are awesome! The only thing this game lacks is a story. There is nothing in between levels, not even a simple cutscene.
