If you're a GoldenEye fan and were dissappointed with the first TimeSplitters (I was), this is the game you're looking for!
In terms of graphics, sounds, menus, look, etc., this game will remind you of Perfect Dark (except the retro stages). More importantly, mission objectives make a return! This is what made solo missions in GE and PD so fun, and the objectives here are of the same kind.
Also, you can unlock and replay all the stages from the previous game. You can complete challenges. There's multiplayer modes and a map creator.
The single-player story mode isn't that long (but there's lots of other stuff to do). Also, some mission objectives can be a pain to figure out (consult an FAQ).
If you loved Rare's previous FPS, you'll love this game too. If you never played them, you'll find this to be a good, but not an amazing, FPS.
