There is a lot to like about everything that Tiger Woods 12 is bringing to the table. The gameplay is more fine tuned and realistic than it ever has been. The visuals are detailed and rich with scenery. Its nice to have Faherty back for commentary and Jim Nantz is a nice addition to complement one of golf's biggest voices. Of course, the path that this years game chose to take was The Masters. Its been a long time coming and for die hard golf fans, a reason to rejoice. The object in this year's Tiger is to qualify for The Masters and eventually put on the coveted green jacket. This is done through a main menu that is competely revolved around "The Road to the Masters." They took out the Tiger challenge and added Masters Moments. These are fun and famous shots that have been taken throughout the history of The Masters, that you can complete for fun or for faster qualifying for The Masters. Implemented into the actually gameplay is a caddie for your golfer. Again, an exciting new feature. It doesnt add a lot of flash and flare, but he helps you a long the way, recommending the best shots for you to take, especially for the extremely difficult shots. You can turn him all the way off or completely ignore him if you so choose. Your golfer levels the same way as usual, through XP and the money that you earn will go toward new equipment. You also can get sponsored by one of six different big names in golf. My biggest problem with this guy, and the reason that it kept me from giving it a perfect score, is that its kinda lackluster after you win the green jacket. Having the Tiger Challenge would have been nice to keep around just as an extra challenge in the game. Especially since on my first playthrough, I qualified for the Masters and won the jacket on my first try. Overall the game is awesome. The new additions make it have a really pure feel to it. My only problem with it, is its lasting appeal.
