This game is ok, but man is it hard. I remember playing Tiger PGA 2005 and a few other ones, and they were pretty easy to get the hang of. One thing that I've found that I don't like is the putting. You really don't have a good feel of the green. And if you can't judge even a little bit, then you gonna go crazy when you score goes up because you 3 or 4+ putted. I liked the putting in the older games where it gave you a set distance on where the ball might go in. I know that they make games realistic but we are all not pro golfers and we don't understand every little detail. If EA is going to rate there stuff everyone, that should make it where everyone who picks up the controller can actually play the game. There are a lot of faults about this game that need to be addressed, I just don't have the room to say it all. It short, one, game is way to hard if you don't understand golf to every detail; two, swing, putting, loft, ect. need to go back to semi-easy; and three, if you're going to rate something Everyone, make sure "Everyone" can play it satisfactory!
I'm normally a fan of the Tiger games, but I didn't get five minute into this one, and it didn't have to do with the gameplay. Instead, it was the character creation. I don't know what's up, but everyone looked like demons or creatures from World of Warcraft. Their eyes were literally glowing in these bright colors, it was incredibly distracting.
I took a couple of swings, decided I hated the voice of the guy doing play by play (is he trying to sell me a timeshare or a used car, because he sounds like that kind of guy), and really disliked the look of the character itself.
