best golf game in years

when i was a kid, i have many fond memories of playing the old genesis PGA carts with my dad, and really i havent played a golf game that good since. links on the old xbox was really good but this one is better if only for the reason that you build based on how you play. say you hit a good long-ball then it will reward you, but you couldnt parlay those points into your short game. that was the only real flaw with links is that i could use my strengths to make my weaker areas stronger. which is cool, i suppose but it didnt make me better at those things.
this game is like a golf RPG. and it's amazing. dont listen to all those people who say the game is broken.
