This game is so awesome. U can make ur own roller coasters, mini golf courses, basically what ever u want. U can flirt with people, and u can have boyfriend/girlfriends....u have 2 buy this game. Im about 2 buy this game...like 2morrow. But i played it on my friends playstation 2... it was so awesome i would pay 40 dollars for it. After u buy it ur parents will want u 2 get off it....cuz the game is sooo good that u dont mind eating dinner a hour later...this is a really good present 2 give someone. Just buy it and have fun..

Thrillville offers a bigger package than at first glance -- there are arcade games, mini-games, profit challenges and the opportunity to design tracks and coasters.

It is NOT RCT, which is a big bonus! I don't care for the Tycoon games.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. The soundtrack is one of the best ones out there, gamewise. You'll find yourself wanting to visit certain sections of the park just to hear some of the tunes. Thumbs up to LucasArts for using some indie bands and choosing music that actually FIT a theme park.

The one downside (saving it from a perfect 10 in my book) was some of the GAMES challenges. I'm horrible at first-person shooters, and I dislike them. But to attain the required bronze/silver/gold medals to earn rewards, I had to rack up too high of a score for someone who is truly BAD at shooters. A nice option would be to switch game options. I'm an Ace at golf, so why not let my 5 hole-in-ones be for the gold medal or something?

Some of the games were deliberate rip-offs of classics, like 1942 and Ultima.

I rented this game on a whim, and I ended up buying it. It's a quick play to open all 5 parks, but there's plenty to refine and redo once you have achieved this.

now i love rc2 and rc1 but they look like mere toys compared to thrillsvill! Although the story is super cheesy [but who cares!]it is a great game. Now there are lots of great rides and super cool themes and but the graphics are kind a poor. Now there is more than rides there are games and a cool mode that lets you talk to the guests in 3rd person. Now this is a great game for ages 9-13 but is too complicated for a 7 year old. This will keep any child entertained for a long time and is not very expensive a great buy for Christmas only complaint is that the graphics and sound track aren't that good. A certain buy or rental.
