I loved this game! You build rides and games trying to make a successful theme park (which really isn't hard to do). You can even edit the coasters which are already built. However sometimes it takes a little skill to make the ends of the coaster connect into one loop.
There are tons of mini-games across the park that you can play. Those aren't the best. They're more old arcade style games with mediocre graphics and limited movement but still can be fun. Some I play over and over even if I've beaten it already because it so addicting! Others I play once and never try again.
And then when all of that gets boring you move on to the next theme park where you can build again and try new mini games. And each park has it's own theme or challenge.
Overall I just love the options this game has. Most games I play for a couple days and then I'm bored with it but with thrilleville I'm only bored with a section of the game and I can choose to do something else on it. I've owned this game for a couple months now and I wouldn't trade it in. This is the most played game in my house.

When this game arrived, I was worried that it would be 'just another sims-style game'. Wow, was I wrong! This little game is PACKED with decent, fun mini games, sims-style build and manage options and the ability to do it all or do only what you want.
Party mode (multi-player) is a great time and any unlocked mini-game from single player mode can be played with friends.
This game is great for old-school gamers who can remember the fun of a side scrolling shooter, top down sprint type racing game, and many more classinc game types, but it will appeal to the younger crowd as well.
There are some missions of the game that may not be exactly what you would want an 8 year old doing though, such as flirting, but with a parent at the controls, those features can be avoided.
A hugely entertaining title and one worthy of a purchase in my opinion.
