I am giving this game a one because I can't even play past the first level it is so mind numbing and horrible. The mechanics are awful, walking around the world is awful, and there is no sandbox feel like they made it out to be. Dishonored was ten time better on the 360.
My first introduction to this series and I'm happy to have played it. It's not an epic or must play title but there is some value.
STORY: Pretty bland from beginning to end but that not really surprising now is it? It's pretty impersonal and generic but that was to be expected. 2/5
GAMEPLAY: Solid besides a few issues like AI and melee attacking is pretty weak. Avoid trying to bash peoples brains in because you'll die before you get a chance WHICH reinforces the stealth aspect of the title. 3/5
GRAPHICS: You can decide for yourself but nothing overly impressive. Some frame rate issues and drops during cut scenes which were easy to spot and odd. Doesn't look as polished as it could be but it's passable as it is. 3/5
VERDICT: I love the stealth genre so for me I enjoyed it. I only played it in bits and pieces because that's all I could handle. I plugged 20hrs and change and really got a good rent value from this title even with the issues I had with the game. I wouldn't buy it or go achievement/trophy crazy over this one because it's not worth the time or effort.
Chapter 4 has an annoying chase scene with no instructions whatsoever that has to be cleverly timed, and done like 45 times over and over again (no exaggeration). I play games for fun, not to get annoyed.
