I was surprised with this game quite honestly. The first episode was in my opinion kind of boring, but when the second one hit it started getting quite interesting and fun. I'm on the third episode now and hope it gets better.

This is a great game. If you don't like point and click adventures that's a shame because your missing out on a wonderfully original and viscerally emotional gaming experience. Most of the gameplay involves conversational decisions in which your particular answers can affect the other character's opinions of you. The rest of the gameplay involves searching areas for items you need, and figuring out how to fight walkers when you encounter them. This game is designed for your character to feel unempowered, and as such the gameplay is not similar to a shoot em up action adventure. It focuses on the story and your relationships with other survivors, so the games pace is very slow. It makes up for it in spades with its ulra compelling storyline and eerie, uncertain atmosphere.
Best point and click I've played since Clock Tower 2. Hey there Clem...
First off this game is amazing, great story, great voice acting, and a great soundtrack to go with it. But it does have it's flaws. Starting with the constant freeze frame lag, is it a game killer? No, but it does occur a lot, plus it will take audio out of sync and ruin some decision making choices. Also it sometimes freezes completely after you get done with some episodes where it shows you the percentage of people did what things. Now it's flaws don't ruin the game, but after seeing it happen 15 or 20 times it takes its toll on your patience. But don't let this make you not want to get the game because it's still a heck of a game, and trust me when I say the ending will shock you and wanting more for a sequel.
