This is a fantastic game that telltale has given us. The only reason I gave it a 9 was because of the controls. This is definitely not your typical 'see zombie, shoot zombie' game (although you WILL be doing that at some points).

The best thing about this game is the story. You are only playing this game for a good 5 hours but it feels so much longer and you easily get invested in the characters and their stories. I like that you have to make snap decisions that affect you and everyone else (which probably has the biggest impact at the end of episode 4) because let's be honest, if there was a zombie apocalypse do you really think it will be all fun and games?

So if all you want to do is mindlessly shoot every zombie you see, don't get this and don't rate it so low because you feel every zombie game should be an overplayed shoot 'em up game.

Very Good

more show than game, but very entertaining show!

When I think of zombie games I get giddy at the thought of fighting my way through hordes, bashing brains in, and unloading clips.

When I first turned this game on, about 10 minutes in I was thinking, ugghhh this is going to be painfully slow. I almost sent it back in right then, but I am glad I did not.

Though somewhat limited in movement and interaction, the storyline is engaging enough to keep you going alone. They also do manage to throw in some quick decisions/actions that keep you on your toes.

For the most part this feels just like playing an interactive show, which is clearly their intent by breaking it up in episodes. As I worked my way through I got attached to characters and then watched them live out their fates, oftentimes brutal and horrific and shortlived.

I found it an interesting take and a different experience altogether. Quite emotionally involving and more fun than just watching a show!
