Not bad for an interactive zombie movie, but it's definitely not "Last of Us." I've only played through one episode and didn't care for it at first, but it grew on me. The dialogue is about as superficial and contrived as most TV movies, so that's to be expected. Again, it's no "Last of Us" but good enough for me to hesitantly give it an "8." That's a lot more than I give most zombie games.
I personally am not that great at playing video games though i love to play them anyways. I rented this game mostly because of the show. The game has a very good story line where you meet people, lose people, ect. the only problem is that to me this game was easy to beat. it only took me less than a day. which for me is really surprising, so really i would have liked it if there was more to it, and a little bit harder.
This game will always have a special place in my heart. When I beat the game, I cried for days straight about it. It affected me so much emotionally, I literally couldn't think about anything else for about 4 days. When I tried to pick up other video games, I set them down, thinking to myself, "It won't be like the Walking Dead, what's the point?" I sat around, trying to entertain myself but failed, thoughts always being drawn back to this game. When I was ready to ship it out, I almost couldn't. This game will surely affect you as it did me. I highly recommend this game, because it is like no other game I've played before. This truly did deserve it's Game of the Year award. I'm going to bet that I will rent this game again later on, because it's just that amazing. Thank you Walking Dead, for giving me a truly amazing game.
