While the graphics are acceptable and storyline fair I was left feeling like this was an incomplete game.
The whole customized to your choice thing wasnt as big as they make it to be. It requires multiple chapters to really divert but this game is only one chapter. People remember what you said, then end up dead so it makes no difference for this game. Who lives and who dies you get to choose but it doesn't impact this game much. Only when the next one comes will it have an impact.
The game was too short. It left little play value to it. A longer game would have been more enjoyable and catered more to the customized experience.
The game was pretty simplistic and easy to control except for one aspect. When in a time critical situation like zombies in your face don't make me aim with the right stick on a moving target and use A for the action key, they use the same finger. With only one action item option each time it should have let the right trigger button be used.
The game has potential, but overall felt lacking. It was more like a beginners college project than a marketable game for sale.
I was under the impression that originally this would be a bad game, not living up to my expectations due to the hype that is generated everywhere I see this game. But since I am a huge zombie fan and an even bigger The Walking Dead fan, I thought I would give this game a shot. Very glad that I did as it is now one of my favorite games for Xbox 360! Recommended.
I especially love the time aspect; the game times you when you are choosing critical and game-altering decisions and this definitely adds to the game.
I am slightly disappointed that there is not more "action" in this, as in more scenes where I am able to push through zombie hoards (this part of the game was awesome) and freely use my gun. Although, it is a nice change of pace from the first player shooters I have been playing. The characters and crazy player choices/outcome totally make up for it, though. Love all of the different kinds of characters and their personalities, definitely added to the game. Especially Clementine, she made the game worth it!
This game was glitchy at times (instances I can recall are when it was loading episodes that I had not click on to play and during the train ride, my screen completely fell through the ground and was unplayable, etc.), and at one point in the game, I had to completely turn off and restart. Thankfully it auto-saves relatively often
Surpassed my expectations and was a FANTASTIC game, Telltale did an amazing job. One of my favorite games and I recommend to all players!
