Thank you Telltale for releasing a solid game that helps make the already best show on TV even better. However, the game is not what I expected, but I enjoyed it ALOT nonetheless. This is some of the best storytelling, voice acting, and character development I've seen in a video game, especially one that was not a physical game release.

The Walking Dead is a point and click detective-like game. Similar to LA Noire, you have limited access to buttons and movement, but instead click on things that develop a story that is unique for every person who plays. It's all about the story and characters. You can explore some areas, pickup supplies, etc. but it's quite limited.

More so than any game I've played, every decision you make alters the story. You'll have timed and untimed dialogue, tough choices to make, button sequences, etc. I.E. at some point in time, you may decide to save a certain group member over another, and maybe that person you didn't save's father was that person. They may hold a grudge against you for not saving him, and that affects story, for example.

I loved the tough choices in both the action and dialoge sequences. What's so cool is that the great story almost forces you to grow certain feelings and attachments for group members. I hated some and also grew to love some characters. So if there was a guy I hated in my group, I'd find a way to kill them off or abandon them. And vice versa, I tried to keep those I liked around for the long haul.

But your character Lee has been tasked with protecting this little girl Clementine, whose parents are dead. She could be the coolest child character ever put in a game, and you will do anything to save her, trust me. I loved the mini episodes, and I hope Telltale uses similar formats to create more games like this in the future.
