love the show
love the comic even more
like the telltale game

this particular "game"---not so much....its the worst game of the year so far and i'd be surprised if we saw something released that is as bad as this steaming pile of discards.
my friend calls this a "diamond in the rough" and jokingly says it's better than bioshock infinite or skyrim.
we haven't spoken since such sentiment was uttered.

it takes more than zombies in a game to make it good but if you're so simple-minded that's all you require for entertainment then by all means...have at it.
the rest of us (with brains)-avoid like the plague and save your rental slot for just about anything else.

First of all, I am a huge fan of the show and of Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker and also the characters they portray in The Walking Dead. If you feel the same as me and are a fan of survival games as well, then I would say give this a rent. The whole basis of the story in this game is to show you back story on Daryl and Merle Dixon and how their struggle during the zombie apocalypse began. This game stays true to the whole idea of you should stay stealthy rather than just go guns blazing as to not attract more walkers, and also supplies are very limited so you don't really want to get wounded cause health items such as MRE's and Sports Drinks are very limited. You can also choose to help survivors that you come across along the way and you can add them to your group and send them on supply runs to obtain things like (food, fuel and ammo) whenever you get into an area, but that does come with a potential risk of them coming back with very low health in which case you personally have to heal them with your supplies or them not making it at all and weapons you gave them being lost for good, but to be honest weapons are easier to come by than health. The only down side in my personal opinion is the graphics cause they are not very good but they aren't so bad that I won't play the game, but in regards to the gameplay it's actually pretty well done and just your average first person shooter controls. I hope my review helps with any on the fence feelings anybody has had about this game so that maybe you will give it a chance and try it out for yourself.

This game is so bad you won't even have to clarify if you are talking about this or TellTale's The Walking Dead Game
