I try to not "Review" games because I feel that they should be experienced by everyone. This is my experience and thoughts playing the game.
I'm a fan of The Walking Dead, I've seen everything that VOD has up so far, since I don't have Cable or Satellite and I played the Telltale games version of The Walking Dead, so when I heard quite awhile ago of The Walking Dead Survival Instinct I was hyped.
I thought oh yea this is going to be awesome that I could play a first person shooter set in the Walking Dead Universe and you also get to play as one of the main characters how could it go wrong? Then as the game was getting closer and closer to release I started to see videos pop up first on youtube of a Beta build of the game and how bad it looked then I saw a video on Destructoid showing how the game looked again and my hopes for the game were going down faster then the Titanic.
However, I try to give a game a fair shake when I play it. I remember loving games that came out for the PS2 and the Original XBox that other people hated so I thought I'll give this game a chance and it finally arrived from gamefly.
To sum it up, I only made it to the first town after the game started and I had enough. I just don't understand, it seems that activision forces Infinity Ward and Treyarch through the most stringent of standards but other games such as the countless Cabela hunting games, Secret Service and to top it The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct get released they don't care about how good the game is or looks. It just boggles my mind.
I don't try to give a game a score because to me it feels like it's a review and I personally don't consider what I do to be a review it's more just my thoughts or opinions of a game. I'd prefer that you play the game and make your own educated opinion of it.
But I need to pick a score and I hate to say it but this game gets nothing but a 1 from me, if it had a 0 I'd give it that, but I can't. Please don't repeat this mistake

I really expected more from this game. And I really really tried to like it. But, it's so flawed on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin. Obviously the idea of playing as Daryl Dixon sounded awesome! It would be, but the game is executed so poorly, I would have been better off playing as Sophia.
Let's not forget that Daryl's signature weapon is his crossbow...which you don't get till very late in the game. Even for a huge Walking Dead fan like me, the game was not worth finishing. Don't waste your time.
