there are a couple i can name off the bat, if you have a baby on your lot and it is in its crib and one of the parents leaves the lot and you follow the sim when you go back to viewing/controlling the lot the baby will be outside causing the other (sleeping!) parent to wake up and go outside to retrieve the baby... VERY annoying
I bought a car and that same day the sim went to work with it and didnt come back with it now it is lost in the game... waste of simoleons!
the fast forward speed is WAYYYY too slow causing lots of gameplay where you are either waiting for your sims to complete work watching nothing or watching sims sleep. i think watching paint dry would be more entertaining than watching z's float across the screen
the sims should NEVER be on anything but pc... even with pc you have the drastic differences in hardware specs deeming it necesary to buy upgrades for your computer every year or so or suffer the lag and slow load times... so id just as soon not play the sims franchise anymore
I enjoyed all of the sims games since Sims 2. Sims 3 offers an endless experience allowing you to have children and watch them grow to become adults and have children. The game will continue without end generation after generation. Personality modeling is good. Could use a larger selection of items. Personalization is good. There are some glitches such as the opportunities for computer sims does not function correctly but the game will flow despite. Could be a little more challenging but that would probably be a nightmare for first time sims players.
I got it for free from EA on twitter, as far as charging for the online part, I'm not impressed. It has fewer functions than the ts3 website not to mention it doesn't register the game on my ts3 website profile since it has to use a different profile. The core game is still almost the same, the menus are the only major difference along with the map, I wish they made the map 3d not cell shaded, my ps3 is totally capable of doing it, lazy programing I guess.. I hope ea will let ps3 users make new neighborhoods. The only other thing is there is no cheat console to enter basic cheats like a money cheat or whatever.. All in all this is a good game, but I think it could have gone for $40 not $60.. I rated this an eight because of these reasons.. I would have given it a 10 if they wouldn't have charged for the online.. This is a good game for sims addicts.. I haven't played it in a while, been busy with GT5 and LBP2 beta.. LBP2 will own all my ps3 time in 2011.. this is a good rent if you've never played ts3.. Just dont buy the online if you rent, the online key is locked to the blu-ray disc's serial key..
