The Sims 3 is good, but...

This game was awesome. I loved it. You can do anything you want in the game. I don't think it ever ends. There is a glitch though. I don't know if it was my Xbox, but the game froze on me a couple of times. I wouldn't care if it had an auto-save feature, but unfortunately it doesn't. This game is surely worth a rental. If it didn't freeze on me, I would probably buy it...

I have loved The Sims ever since they first came out. I loved it on the PC and when I saw that they were on the Xbox now I was excited and could not wait to get my hands on it. The overal game play is the same as the older ones in most ways. They have added stuff like karma power and challenges which only gives you more to do. The graphics are great and I have nothing to complain about there. The only piece of advise I would give is to SAVE OFTEN cause you never know when the sim will decide to get stuck in a counter or the wall. The ACHIEVEMENTS on this game are quiet easy to get all 1,000 in a resnable time if you rent it. I do recommend it as a good cool down game.

This game is great and really is a lot like the vanilla version of the pc but there are a few places where it is different and these few things make it much different and really take away from the game if you have ever played it on the pc so if you have the choice of pc or xbox for this game go with the PC. The map on the xbox looks childish and you can't create houses from scratch like you could on the pc, you also can't place buildings and there are only about 10 houses that you can move into and after you edit one you can't return to it. If you divorce your wife she gets deleted from the game when you move her out, this really takes away from the game because if you have a kid it would then say the child only has you as a parent. Also every time you delete another sim by kicking them out you have one less sim in the game, they don't get replaced so eventually everybody in this will die if you play long enough. Once again this game is great if you haven't played the pc but without expansions, the ability to edit the town and the larger number of people this pales in comparison. If you can only get it for the xbox its a great game for you but if you can get it on your computer go with that, its much better.

I really don't understand some people. If you read through the other reviews on this game, people are saying that it sucks because it is the same as the computer version. What is the one on the computer called? The Sims 3. What about the Xbox 360 version? The Sims 3. Same title same game. Maybe they should learn how to read.

Overall this is a fun game. If you liked the older Sims then you will like this one. A lot of fun new features. Definitely a rental and possibly a buy.

I have never played a sims game until I played this one, And i gotta say im pleased! Although after reading some of the other reviews about this game I heard a lot of complaints about it being boring, and I agree to a certain extent with that. This games is far from terrible, but it could have been better. This game is like a game of life which is what makes this game a unique title and really fun to play! Although it really is kinda annoying hearing those sims talk in their weird squeaky language and I dont see why they cant speak English. Also the time in this game is really fast, and I cant get much dont in a day when it takes like nearly an hour just to wash a couple of dishes. Also I seem to find my character needing to sleep an awful lot which is why I said i agree that this game can get kinda boring. But other than those few complaints I dont have any problems with the game, Their are tons of fun in this game, and tons to do! The Karma powers are really fun to use and it never fails to amuse me seeing a sim just fail at everything after using the "Epic Fail" Karma power! For those of you who love to go for achievements such as myself i can honestly tell you this is one of the best achievement lists ive seen in a long time! The achievements involve everything from throwing an awesome party to Extinguishing a fire from a family member! I Highly suggest buying this game If you want to do everything this game has to offer! And if your like I was a few days ago never playing a sims game, This game is a must play!

This is gr8 it self but he other things maybe cause it to die. The game has awesome grafics but the options of the the hair and body are limited. The other bad thing is that the game has more content then you think. It has sexual content and when you create a family you only have 6 people. and lastly the house options. The option just kill me. you only have two options at first but thats ok.

So I had to try this one after playing the first two..I had the second one for xbox...sadly still have it with my origianl xbox, but the fact there is no multi-player kinda does suck, but in a way I like how I can walk away to get a drink or something to eat or to go out and not find my sims are dead. In fact one time I went to work and forgot it on and they had kept themselves alive...which was kinda cool cause I wanted some achievments...infact that was one of the two reasons I rented this game. talk about easy achievment points for little work. It's not the best, and can be better but it wasnt all that bad. debating weither I should buy it or not just so I can get the rest of the achievments on my own time, but eh..I can aways rent it again. Not bad game though, better then what I expected that's for sure. Wish I could play it on my pc :(

The Sims 3

I found that the Sims 3 was a great in provement on the Sims 2. There's more space to explore, more people to meet and you get to use the power of Karma on the sims. The camera work goes well in the game, but I tended to miss the first person aspect of the game. And sometimes if you have a big family it's hard to sometimes hard to keep track of them all and keep their needs up. Sure this game does have some flaws but it's great in many other ways. The possibilties are endless, you can decide the sims looks, their personallities, how they react to things, what their dreams are and you can even make them live their lives when they're dead (you playt as a ghost). sometimes it takes a little long to load, but who could blame it, the game was so hard to make it's probably to be expected to be a little glitchy. Although if you're a new comer to the Sims you may find the controls a little hard to get, but after about an hour of playing you'll get the hang of it. So in the overall of the game, it's fun and exciting with some flaws, but you won't be able to put it down for very long, it won't take a long time to get addicted. So I recommend this game.

Sims. A PC game now on Xbox. Once heard that sims was on Xbox I was I little bit shocked that EA would do something like this again. But I think it was a great idea. Awesome. It was exactly like the PC, except for the controls of course. Interactions with are awesome, the activities that you can do door are great. But the thing that gets to me about sims games are that they are really repetitive after awhile, every time I do something in the sims I feel I like I'm doing it over and over and over again. Saying that I'm this game a 7, a great game. I really wanted to rate higher but EA still faces the same problem with the sims, IT'S CRAZY REPETITIVE AFTER TIME!!!!!!! This game is a solid rental that's all.

The building tools are great, the graphics are easy on the eyes and the gameplay is cool. My only problem is that when i am almost done with my gorgeous house the roof looks like a bunch of drunk, sleep deprived, sun burnt monkeys tacked it together. If only there was a way to mold the roof like you could with the terrain and flooring. Good game all in all but the pc version is better and worth buying. Get the pc version. First time i will ever betray my Xbox 360. (Hopefully it will be the last)

Sims 3

The Sims 3 is probably the best console version EA/Maxis has released, it stays true to the PC format of the game. The most useful advice I can give is to save the game to your hard drive to speed up the load screens between the ares of the town. There was one downer I encountered, I found an unpatched glitch that caused the broken object noise to continuously play and my in depth wishes and opportunity panel to be useless. Still it was an enjoyable game and very play worthy.

The game Sims 3 for the Xbox 360 wasn't bad. What doesn't make this game great or amazing is the fact that it was desinged like the computer. If it was left like the way Sims 2 was were you could actually control your player it would have been an 7.5 but the point and click strategy made the game both irritating ,and boring. It took forever for it to be the next day or for for one sim to finish a task/job. It took to much time for a skill to reach critical. I would advise this to players who have an amazing amount of time from work or school. Plus the lack of jobs or things to do gets quite boring if you don't like a repetative game.

This is a good game but I couldnt really get into it that much because I have the sims 3 and all the expansions for the computer and everytime I wanted to play the sims I found myself playing it on the computer. the one thing that was really cool about the console version though that the computer one dont have are the wishes and all the unlockables and of course the online exchange part. but what Im trying to say is If you own the computer version then you probally wont be able to get yourself to play the console one because the computer version with all the expansions is so much better!

Great Game with Big Bug

I never had bought an Xbox game that had any major problems, well this one does. After playing for about a month and moving my newly aquired family to one of the biggest houses i started having issues with saving the game. I have been on the EA Forums and talked with moderators there, i have called Xbox in which they try to help, but nothing has worked and yes, i deleted memory cache on Xbox first thing....The guy at Xbox said it's been known to happen and even happen to him. His advise was just to start all over (after my 100 hours or so at building up). Not a very good option, but i've tried everything including building a new house, with all new items. It still locks up when saving and it just doesn't lock up the game, locks up the whole XBox and u have to get up and reboot it.

The Sims 3 is an excellent game, but only for the first day or so. The game play is repetitive to say the least. The controls from the PC to the 360 are very well done and the graphics for the game are quite good also. All in all, I would say rent this game but don't be surprised to find it back in the mailbox a few days later.

This game is alright, I hate how you must own the game to download user content just another way for EA to get more money out of you. EA requires you to pay 800 Microsoft Points to download user content which is BS. There are hardly any people in town. You Sim has way to many wishes. You can't move your Sim out of town once you have played this game for a week it gives extremely boring. I give this a 7 out of 10.

I used to love sims games like sims bustin out but i guess i grew out of it. i still had fun with cause its pretty cool controlling a fantasy life essentially. but in the end it turns into baby sitting because your sim is either working or at home sleeping, so you pretty much just monitor. but if you like that stuff then cool. Fun game for a bit
