This game is a great game, It is everything I like and more you can create your family the way you wanted it to be or how you wished it could have been, I really enjoy this game a lot.

Excellent Game

The graphics are pretty good, it's highly addictive and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. If you've ever played the Sims before then you know what to expect. The Karma powers are a cool addition.

My ONLY gripe is my favorite part of these games has always been purchasing a lot and then building a house up from scratch. If there is a way to do that in this game beyond purchasing a lot and then spending the time to demolish everything I didn't see it. But again, that's a very small gripe.

If you don't like Sims games, then you won't like this one. If you do, you'll love it. It did what sequels are supposed to do, keep the good, and add more cool stuff. I gave it a ten because it did everything it was supposed to do as a Sim game and then some.

This games has top it off the charts it is one of the best game my sons play.This is a very fun and cool game and my boys love this games but my oldest son is obsessed and addtive to it but he loves it.

So I got this game. And I was Blown Away. Very Fun And Addictive.
But when I found out How To create A a new Game With The Cheats. It was On Bought The Biggest House cars computers.
everything i wish i had in real life.
Also Its Fun To Use Karma Powers. And Watching someone die is really kool. lol im twisted but there was no way for me to get one of my family members to move out. Anyways Great Game Rented it now im going to buy it.

Big Tip if you like building things cause i know i do and building everything from the ground up was a lot of fun.
A must Have.

the sims 3 was a unique game and this was the first game I played in the sims franchise but the graphics the gameplay was compelling and it was not eays to put the game down after about a hour and once I played the game for about 2-3 hours and thought it was 30 minutes- 1 hour
and the combanations of the sims you could make was amazing and the countless ways you could play the game was apart of the fun and from what I heard that the games get better and better ever time so this game is worth a buy by a long shot

This Game Is The Best Game From the Sims To Me. It Has Abosolutely No Flaws Sometimes It Is A Little Boring But Thats Only When You Have Been Playing It 24/7! Mine Got Scratched Up Because I Lend It Too Someone But That'll Never Happen Again. I Definitley Recommend It To Sim Players !

The only thing I knew about sims 3 is that you must create a character and basically thats it.But then I actually rented the game and I was surprise because the game was so awesome because it allowed me to do lots of things in the game. You will not get bored with this game and you will like this game so much that you will want to buy it. Just rent and play it.

I love this game sooo much!! I always used to play Sims, Sims2 and now Sims3 with my friends!! Sims would be my least favorite but Sims3 would be my favorite!! I love creating my own house, the rooms, parties and I love having fun!!

When I first recieved Sims 3 I knew that I would love it. Well in the first hour and a half of you playing, your shaping your character, and building your house. I grew bored and whent to do something else. But then a small voice in the back of my head grew all these possibilites! And my mind was racing with creativity! So I played some more. I am not joking this was the one of the best 4 hours of my life. It was extremely addicting when you try to complete your goals. In my opinion 10/10... Now dont get me wrong, this game can be extremely frustrating at some points. And the gameplay is a bit long winded. Some gamers will not think about playing this game because it has "Slow Gameplay" If COD is your favorite type of game, this is obviously not for you. I deeply encourage you to atleast try this game. Dont give up on it in the first 2 hours. Youll regret it if you do. If you play this game! Here are some other games that you might like. Fable Series. ElderScrolls IV:Oblivion. And I cannot think of any others. Well I think Ive said enough considering I have typed over a thousand letters. lol. Well GoodBye ;)

If there was a "The Sims" competition, I would vote for the Sims 3 about 1, 2, 3... 1,000,000,001 times! I love the way you can customize your Sim compared to other games. I matched my eye color and facial proportions almost to the point! Hint: If you want to make the game load faster, install it to your hard drive or memory stick (if you download it to a memory stick, make sure you put your save game on he memory stick so it loads fast when you play)! I loved listening to the improved Simlish they included in the game, too. It has to be the best Sims game ever.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

In the sims three you can do whatever you want. You can create an insane sim or a lucky sim. Do you want them to be really fat? You can do that. There are Millions of possibilities and maybe even more. You get to chose what job they get, whether they are good at something or not, who they want to get married too, an infinite number of possibilities! What are you going to do?

The problem with The Sims on any console (As opposed to the PC version) was always that one felt very limited. Limited in objects, space, therefore things to do. This new installment of The Sims series changes that in one fell swoop by replicating the PC version as much as possible with the add-on of visiting the entire neighborhood via a simple pause menu, HAVING MULTIPLE LEVELS IN ONE'S HOUSE (Yes. This is now possible. Stairs have arrived), and adding an additional age (Young Adult) to the arsenal of old-fashioned Sim features a classic player would be used to. In conclusion, this game is magnificent console alternative if you love The Sims. Keeping in mind that liking The Sims is something that's like spicy food, you'll either love it, or you'll avoid it entirely. Keep this in mind with your purchase (or rental) and you won't be disappointed!

Don't listen to all those negative reviews out there - if you are a die-hard Sim-fan, you'll love this newest installment. But don't get me wrong, it's very easy for new players to get into as well. But I regret having listened to all the negative reviews out there! It kept me from playing this game for a whole year!

And YES, you get to play and control the Sims you create! I know there are a lot of people confused by this concept. Some have been saying you couldn't, and that's what kept me away, too. Shame on you folks for saying otherwise! >:(

Overall great controls, fairly decent although at times confusing tutorial system (some things you will just have to figure out for yourself), although there is definitely an invisible dirty objects issue that needs fixing... but you can just place that bugged item in a far corner of your lot and it gets ignored anyway. I can't play this game on my computer due to it being so graphic heavy, but I'll say this console port is just as good, if not better than I've ever played on the PC.

The only thing that sucks is that the use of cheats (to get money, etc) turns off achievements. Ah well, I find that bit interesting, if not a little annoying.

When I got this game I was hoping to build a mansion with the most expensive stuff and the biggest lot evicting the familys i didn't like and taking there homes, but in this sims i couldn't evict familys and i found my house filling up fast VERY fast, so i was scared to even move out of my first house till i decided to experiment, and killed my adopted daughter in the swimming pool... she haughted the house so i got my stuff and left moving to the next and building it myself it was a 2 story house with only one little room on top surrounded by windows, which was his bedroom and i filled that house up in a matter of minutes i felt like i couldn't have the freedom the PC sim games offer which was ruining my fantasy life. I don't plan on getting this game ever again, maybe next time, but i got the PC version to, and i still love that game more. Let down? Yes. Worth A Rent? Yes if you don't have a good PC for running games on. Thanks for reading good luck with your limited space lots and all the same familys.

I've played and own the PC version of The Sims 3, that being said, I can honestly say this game was pretty close to being just like the PC version. I played the PC version a ton and could have seen myself doing the same with this game had I not already done pretty much everything there was to be done on the PC version. The game looks pretty nice, probably even better than what it did on my low end PC. The controls are something to get used to though. I've read through a couple other reviews crying about the controls of the game and how bad they are. Don't believe them, they're not that bad once you get the hold of them.

I gave this game a 10 since simulation games are few and far between when it comes to the console. It was a very fun game, get used to the controls and you'll be enjoying yourself.

I fell in love with this game the possibilities of free world game play are many. Not to mention the building materials in build mode are fantastic which is to why i love the sims game series i am an aspiring architect and man oh man im in heaven you can build multi floor homes. I was used to the sims game played on game cube so it was a bit weird to learn it on a totally different system but surprisingly i adapted to it fast. Lots of great pretty clothing options, build options, lots or career choices, you can actually dine out, visit the gym, visit your neighbors homes, buy cars, have birthday parties for your kids, i think even maybe your sim can even gain weight, gets pregnant and old. This is what simulation games are all about and should be like. A must play if you love simulation of real life games. A rating of 10 easily.
