The Sims 2 for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

When I first got sims2 i was excited about playing it but when i got on it it took 10 min. to load and when it finally loaded it took another 5 min. to load again and after all that in game play I found out after it lagged that you automatically make out with the kind like boys with boys ( compete turn off) I found the game was really long and boring.

When the Sims first came out I bought it and loved it. Eventually I would buy some expansion sets and even the PS2 titles of the game. Then the Sims 2 for the PC was released and I bought that. Two expansion sets later, I heard the Sims 2 was now available for the PS2. I rented it and played it. At first It looked pretty neat and controlling your sim was smooth and easy via the anolog stick. Then I realized I was playing a dumbed down version of a game I already own for the PC. Also I found many problems in the game. For example, when you are talking to a sim and speed up time you can here the conversation from 50 sim minutes ago. Sure there are a numerous amount of items to be unlocked and the new making your own food system is nice, but that is not going to cut it this time around. I would not give this game my stamp of approval and would not recommend it to anyone who expects a totally great sims game. Maybe they should just kill the franchise already.
