The Sims 2 for PSP Reviews by Gamers

Ok , there are 3 things I must stress. First: No console version of the Sims measures up to the PC versions, that simple. 2nd: Any sims player (that doesn't have a top of the line PC) KNOWS there is lag when you do certain things(ie; going to different places). 3rd: not anything like your PS2 version of The Sims 2.
Now with all that in mind this game was awesome! I personally don't care for the Sims that try to have in depth story lines. This one made me change my mind. The story line is funny, stupid, and just plain ol' great all rolled into one little game. So if you like the story liners this one is worth playing and seeing what goes on in this strange town.
The mini games are fun and can be challenging. some even have you giggling like a girl,yes i am a girl, but you boys to will be thinking oh my gosh i hope nobody heard that giggle...it escaped!
What i didn't like was the fact that you can run through the game quite quickly. So once you do that and are getting ready to freeplay it(must beat game for freeplay mode) you realize freeplay? what freeplay? The freeplay isn't the way i'm used to most sims being. Freeplay consist of being able to continue finding out the towns secrets, play mini games and change your aspiration to change your goals around a bit.. that's it that's all nothing more to free play, the end.
This game is a good game for everyone to at least rent. Newbie: it explains what you need to know well and the skills are easy to master ( they don't take half the day).This is probably one of the few sim versions that is easy to pick up and not get confused. Long time sims players: You ever wonder what they were thinking and hiding... well ..yeah you got to play to find out!
WARNING..Reasons NOT to play: if you only play the sims to build houses, sorry none of that in this game. you can decorate your already built home for free but not many decorating options. if you like to speed up during showering and tv watching, sorry none of that either.
