Sims 2 Pets - Boring

I really couldn't get into this game. It just got boring really fast. The Sims 2 got boring after a while as well but not as fast, maybe after a week or two. This was only a couple of hours. I thought Sims 2 Pets would be more fun seeing you could actually play with the animals. But basically you're just playing the regular Sims with the added features of feeding, petting, and playing with a pet. There are things you can buy for your dog/cat, but to me it wasn't that big of a difference. If you're going to get a Sims game, stick with the basic and just get The Sims 2.
