game does not work

i rented this game over the weekend and it had to wait for 5 days for veterans day but when i just got home i put the disc in to play it but it doesn't work i'm so mad right now I've tried repeatedly to play this game but it keeps saying an error has occured the game either needs to be fixed or in the trash
