Had a hard time with the amount of enemies vs. what little weapons provided. Didn't make it too far past the wood yard trying to get to the gas station before I got frustrated and bored of the game. Already mailed back......
Don't rent unless u like to start over and over again trying to reach the same goal because your character is inadequately armed.

locomotive madness

I love Zelda games but this one drove me crazy. The constant locomotive paths with bad guys to ward off at predictable times got very annoying pretty quickly. While I still played through the entire game I enjoyed the normal dungeon type levels. It is still a decent game but not on of my favorites of the Zelda series. I hope they do not use this means of transportation again.

Zelda going down hill?

Maybe its that I'm getting old and am sick of all my favorite series are putting all their effort into attracting kids, or maybe it doesn't even do that very well, since my daughter lost interest as quickly as I did.

This feels like a rehash of Phantom Hourglass, which feels like a DS rehash of Wind Waker, which is a cartoonified rehash of Majora's Mask, which is a kidified rehash of Ocarina of Time...
So in other words, close enough to the previous game that it made me think of Majora's Mask.
