Having never played a Zelda game, I decide to try this title to try to get into the series. Truth be told, I was blown away. The story was captivating and the gameplay mechanics were unique and quite interesting. The story was one of the best aspects of this game, as it was entwined in the whole Zelda cel-shaded series, yet was independent and worked awesomely as a standalone. In conclusion, Phantom Hourglass is the perfect Zelda game for the casual gamer and belongs in every DS library.
