this games is absolutely the most boring game ever. Since these people also created uncharted i thought this one would be better. There's no split screen the guns are whack and instead of grenades they have bricks and bottles???? who does that?? Even though the graphics were phenominal

First i want to say that i've been playing games for over 27 years! So this isn't just some Call of dookie craze that kinds have hyped up. DO NOT RENT this if you want to play it online (which is amazing btw) as you need an online pass (smh) to play it online. GRRRR!
I was very wary of that being an older gamer, i find my taste in games differs from the younger generation, especially in terms of difficulty. That having been said, play the game on hard if you want a challenge.
The first thing that stood out for me in TLOU was the lighting, something about the way the sun looks and reflects on the game world... i can't explain it but it has this aura of sadness to it... it's oddly familiar as if i've seen it before in real life. (the original Day of the dead movie) WATCH IT! ;)
The story is amazing, the character development is subtle and well refined! Nothing feels forced here. You actually start to care about Joel and Ellie and when something goes wrong you are invested in it!
The graphics are astonishing! The characters convey emotion unlike anything i've ever seen! The environments are breathtaking! Some of the areas are truly creepy, and you can go from a serene looking summer day into a dark, spore infested nightmare in a flash!
Gameplay is a perfect mix between stealth and gunfights. You have to think about how you approach combat! This is a survival horror/Action game. A lot of people neglect to mention that! But resources are scarce here! You will often have JUST enough to get through each encounter!
The level design is absolutely flawless! Nothing feels linear, you have plenty of room to choose how you fight, where you fight, or you can just sneak by.
The levels felt very fresh and you will want to search every inch of them for supplies! The music is perfect, the sound effects are perfect.
To put it bluntly, this is one of THE BEST games i have EVER played in 27+ years of gaming starting with the Atari 2600! For once the hype is fu
