Naughty Dog knows what it's doing. It's definitely a movie game along the lines of Uncharted, where you're going to be going through some long procedural events that don't really require talent, but it's all so seamless that you can hardly tell. They make some very good calls about where to draw the line between the limits of reality within a game, and those calls are made for a very good and obvious reason.
It's the story that really sells the game, and against all odds, they actually manage to take the limits of an inevitable story arc and tell a very poignant and (!) original tale within it. It reaches straight into your heart and starts messing you up from early on, to the point where I had to forbid certain friends going through tough times from playing it. Everything feels real, the characters aren't super heroes, and by the end of it, you realize that it's not about the last people left in humanity, but about the last bit of what's left in each of us when we think we have nothing left. I went into it jaded, and came out a believer. Well done, Naughty Dog.

This was a GREAT game by Naughty Dog. Amazing graphics. Great gameplay. It wasn't very long tho..I beat it within 3 days. Still tho I love it. I recommend this to anyone who likes Zombies and Survival type games. FREAKING AMAZING!
Wow, I don't even know what to say. I just finished playing and I'm speechless. I am really reluctant to give any game a 10 but this will be the first. This game is the total package. The game does not break immersion. For me total immersion consists of 4 absolutes. Graphics, story, gameplay and sound. For a last of a generation masterpiece this game has the best PS3 graphics bar none. The story has gut wrenching edge of your seat feel. The gameplay mechanics is way above average for a third person action game. And sound is outstanding from the voice over to the pop of your weapons. Do not move on the PS4 without play this game first.
