I keep fighting sending this back because of all the great reviews. I keep telling myself I want to play this awesome game. It's so awesome keep going. But I just don't like it. I am about 2 hours into the game with 3 playing sessions which means this "awesome" game is keeping my attention span at an average of around 40 minutes before I can't take playing it anymore. The opening is awesome then it all goes downhill. The stealth ruined it for me. You can't just crouch and move around, you have to crouch and inch forward. If you haven't played the game yet take that warning very seriously. When I say inch forward I mean it. Barely touching the stick and if you make a sound it's one bite and game over. Meanwhile the other 2 AIs are just running around. Just all around painful game play. The graphics are nice but this one is not for me.

TLOU is a great game. Naughty Dog knows how to do it right. The graphics are stunning, game play is fluent, and the story is very well put together. I'll have to say when I finished this game, I felt as though I wanted the journey to keep going as I was involved with the charactors and felt connected.
The story is a great one compared to most games on the market today. It's a relief to see a company that still cares about a well developed story line rather than focusing on graphics and multiplayer (although both are also great on this game).
There are just a few cons, which is why I gave this game an 8.
-The gameplay can get repetitive. It's mostly sneak around, melee someone, and conserve ammo. It's always hitting triangle, and square while in combat. A kid that's never touched a video game before could play this game.
-The "puzzles" aren't at all difficult or interesting. More annoying than anything. It's always get a ladder, put it here. Get a plank, put it here, and get a floating rack for Ellie to climb on. Just time wasting really.
-Could have had much more to do. In terms of finding things, crafting, custimizations etc. No armor, changing clothes, skill upgrades limited etc. You can't tell me in a post apololyptic world that if I kill someone with a bullet proof vest that I'm not taking that with me...
Like I said, overall it's a great game, and maybe I am being petty about some things, but it's just how I feel.
Overall it's a must play for anyone that has a PS3.
It is without a doubt one of the best PS3 titles of all time and one of the best games ever made period. It's so good they don't want to even risk disappointing people with a sequel it's just incredible.
