100 out of 10

A 10 doesn't do this game justice. I am one of those gamers that beat a game quick and grow bored of it. TLOU, I am through my 3rd time, and plan on another go around. Truly a work of art. ND now has a die-hard fan for life.

Arguably One of the Best Games I've Played

The Last of Us raised the bar for gaming industry. This is one of the first games I've seen that really took advantage of using games as the ultimate form of story telling. You can tell a lot of time, effort and passion was put into this.

Before I go any further, this game isn't going to appeal to everyone. The pacing is more in line more with a book than it is with your typical action/adventure game. There a slow parts in between intense fighting scenes that allow you to take in the scenery and develop the characters. Critics will mention the game's fascination with the puzzles that involve either a ladder or a wooden pallet. I think they are wonderful opportunities to take in the environment and set the tone for what's coming ahead.

I suggest playing the game on hard to fully experience the game and the aspect of "survival" that the game is trying to convey. The story is fantastic and the game-play is smooth. I honestly consider this game a work of art.

Great Game

This game really throws you in an immersive and realistic post-apocolyptic environment. There were countless times I felt genuinly scared and also times when I just stopped and looked at the incredible attention to detail with both characters, dialog, and setting. And the growing relationship between Joel and Ellie really grows and doesnt just happen over one cutscene like most games. I think most gamers would really enjoy this game shout out to naughty dog on a great game.
