This game needed more fresh ideas

It’s time to pull out the checklist of things I’d expect from a basic game based on a movie after playing Avatar: The Last Airbender.
3D platforming levels? Check.
A few basic abilities that the player has to use over and over again? Check.
Sequences where the player has to wave the Wiimote and/or Nunchuck in a certain fashion? Check.
A five hour run through from start to finish? Check.
But there are a few things in this game that do stand out. I liked the first person shooting mode where Zuko has to blast a bunch of Fire Nation baddies. And I liked some of the challenges that the game poses to me while playing it. Challenges like clearing all the tables in a mess hall, defeating enemies with steam vents, or don’t kill certain opponents for a section of the level.
But even with those thoughtful features, this game can’t rise above the average 3D platforming game: the main story can only be played one player, and the selection of characters is limited to three (Aang, Zuko, and the Blue Spirit).
What? Katara and Sokka too good for this game? I don’t get to fly about on Appa or ride the komodo lizards like some of the fire nation warriors/benders do?
The button mashing combat system throughout the story mode just adds to the blandness of playing the game - you may fight a few different set of enemies, but mostly you’ll be beating up on benders and warriors of the Fire and Water nations in third person mode. The very few bending powers you use are exremly weak and tiresome.
Even the multiplayer fails to impress. Two players (and only two players) use two of the three characters and team up to beat up a bunch of AI controlled opponents for a short period of time. Whoever gets the most points wins.
That’s it. No one on one match up, and no co op mode here. Avatar: The Last Airbender is for those of us wanting a basic 3D platformer - and only those of us wanting a basic 3D platformer. SKIP IT.

The Last Airbender game has missing details. You can't play as any earthbenders and Aang doesn't waterbend at all but he's supposed to master all four elements and he only uses his glider to fight instead of fly.I think that they should make a second game and have him master the rest of the elements.
