I initially played the first Incredibles game, and It was actually one of the better games made from a movie that I actually enjoyed playing. Even got my wife involved in it.
The only good thing about this game is that it was multiplayer........That's just about it. I played the game, (with my video game deprived wife mind you) and beat it in literally 2 hours. The second those credits started rolling, I just felt cheated. My wife (whom does not play video games often, but did enjoy the first Incredibles) said: "Is that it? You waited for 4 days to play this garbage?" I just hung my head with embarrassment.
This game was a major disappointment. They could have done so much with a multiplayer game including "ALL" of the individual characters. Dash, Violet, Elastigirl. Come on people!
I recently watched the Incredibles movie, and my love of cartoony super-heroes returned. However, when I rented this game in hopes of having a fun, episodic adventure with Mr. Incredible, that love turned into hate, and eventually, a murder of the game.
This game is supposed to be an action adventure game, but the, "action" isn't fun at all, and the, "adventure" is ridiculously easy. There are some good moments in the game that pass for adequate, but since I beat this game in around and hour, there is only something like two adequate moments in the game that act as a slap on the head to keep you awake. Why not have more of those moments so you don't fall asleep in the first place?
If you like the Incredibles and are curious, Then stop it. You'll beat it the day you get it, and you won't remember it tommorrow. Kids, don't even bother with this game. Your wasting time and money. Why not rent Psychonauts instead? Its much more fun and enjoyable (oh, and its actually over 2 hours long!!)
All in All: An epic fail in every way. Terrorists have found a new weapon to torture people with. A 1 out of 10
