Okay,
We've seen the movie, and it alone turned out to be a waste of $15. The Hulk didn't even look real, especially if you compare the Hulk to how King Kong looks in both the latest movie and game release. Well, I can say that the game version of the Hulk's appeal is way better than the movie's.
From my experience, and I don't mind saying I'm currently 36 years of age, if a movie title fails, the game release of that movie will surely follow suit. By the way, my first games I enjoyed were found on the Radio Shack Color Computer 3, the Atari, and the Commodore 64. Oh yeah, I did have some slim, white colored box with two turn knobs to where I played tennis and breakout. What ever happened to those days? Look at me, I'm getting off track with my review here.
If you like re-runs, then you will love this game. All you basically do is "Punch, Slam, Throw, Yell, and Clap." Oh yeah, you also "Punch, Slam, Throw, Yell, and Clap." Wait, did I already say that? Been there done that in too many previous games. It's sort of like knowing in advance that you'll always be jumping up and down in a forth-coming Mario game release.
To me, the game should have been designed as a boxing match style game instead of a search and destroy game. Perhaps the next Mortal Kombat game release will have the Hulk as a secret character. Plus, there's no real goal to reach, but you do get reminded of the original television series of "(^^%%$##$" when you see "((&))#!!$". Ahhh, you thought I was going to give it away didn't you? You'll have to complete the game to see it. But, I recommend just getting the god-mode cheat, and finish the game with in two hours. With all of the "Punching, Slaming, Throwing, Yelling, and Clapping" you have to do over and over and, oh yeah, over again, just Hulk your way to the end in a snap with an invincible cheat code.
