The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

Billy and Mandy is a hit show on Cartoon Network, about two young kids who enslave the Grim Reaper. As their friendship progresses through many adventures, they meet heroes and villains like Hos Del Gado, and Eris, Goddess of Chaos. Now that a fighting game is out, I had to try it. It's great!

The fighting is intense, the character's fighting styles are unique, the arenas change every-now-and-then, like in the Underworld, at the home of Nergal, first you fight at the front door, then you fight on the back of a massive serpent as the area floods with lava. Then, you fight on the roof of the area. When you bring a foe's lives down to 0, and their health is gone, you can unleash a finishing move on them. All this is is just pressing the Square button four times, and this kicks the foe out of the game. Sure the story mode is short, (WICKED short, made up of 6 levels, including a boss battle with a brain-sucking meteor), but completing the 15 minute story will unlock a costume for the character you fight as.

The game is great, but the characters all play the same. But that's just a small smear on the window of a great game. I give The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy 9 Fred Fredburgers out of 10.
