One sentence review quote
"this game will surprise you with how open and free the gameplay actually is"
while this game begs to be compared to Grand theft auto, there are many key differences that make it unique. mainly the shooting/fighting controls... there more precise than GTA, and you feel more involved in gunfights.. the gunfights are like a cartoony feature length film-style, found in AAA games like Gears of war(xbox 360) and Resistance (PS3)... the story is moving, emotional, and at some points the funniest i have seen in a game in a long time.. though the visuals look like a PS2 game thats been upscaled for HDTV's.. the graphics DO fit the gameplay, and after a few hours of playing the graphical flaws are lost in free&open gameplay, and the moving storyline...
if your looking for a game that has hours&hours of gameplay, get this game!.. its the kind of game you'll rely on to keep you occupied while waiting for the killer aps to come to PS3 this year... theres minimal glitches, and any issues that come to notice, will, once again, fade away in the amazingly fun gameplay... Closing comment... this game has saved me from boredom while waiting for AAA games... while this game surely isn't GTA san andreas, its unique, fun, and will keep you interested, if you just give it an hour or two, you'll be playing till the sun comes up!.....
Compared to games like GTA I think this game is a bit more structured, missions more strait forward and this I liked. The game play and controls are good.
The thing I liked most about this game is the fact that you are interacting with the characters of an all time great movie. It's an awesome feeling when Don Corleone or Tom Hagen ask you to handle some business.
