Next to Red Steel, the Conduit is the only other FPS that was built from the ground up for the Wii. I personally liked Red Steel, but for me, the Conduit is not very good. First of all, the campaign. It only took me four hours to complete. Four hours? For this generation, that is ridiculous. I beat the whole thing in one day. I mean come on; I want a game that will have longevity and replay-ability. On the other hand, multiplayer. To be honest, I didn't spend much time with it, but what I did realize was that it was pretty solid. Matches are easy to make happen and there is virtually no lag. But when the game started, it seemed boring to me. I just didnt have that much fun with it. On to the "good." There are many weapons in the game that are all different to use, human and alien firearms. All are fun to fire. the controls are also some of the best FPS controls that are available on the Wii. The voice acting is also superb with Mark Sheppard as the voice of Michael Ford. The voice acting is probably one of the best on any Wii game. The graphics are decent; there are some blurry textures and some pop-ins. The AI is absolutely horrible; enemies will just stand there waiting for you to shoot them. All in all, the Conduit is an OK game. But i strongly suggest you rent before you buy (if you even want to.)
For all you Halo fans who don't own an Xbox 360 and only have a WII, or in love with Resistance Fall of Man but only play the game when you go to your friends house, THIS....ladies and gentlemen is the right game for you. With extraordinary control configuration so easy that your parents could get it in their first try. This game starts off with a BLAST! Literally. Then takes you back in time to show you the truth of what caused all the chaos. I hope for this game to bring in a whole new era in WII games. Before this game the only thing that the wii offered was cooking mama, or gardening mama or animal crossing. I mean, COOKING MAMA??? What the heck is that? Anyways, if you don't have wi-fi connection then put your head down in shame. Because you are missing the online experience of a life time. Move aside Left for Dead, theres a new online game and it means business.
