Great Gameplay, Best Sports Title Yet

One of the better Wii titles so far, the Bigs offers a fun arcade-style baseball game with a big learning curve but with great payoffs. The controls seem near impossible the first few games, but within a few hours you'll be blasting homers, making outstanding plays, and striking batters out at will.
A lot of players might get frustrated with the controls, such as throwing to a base while holding A and moving the Wiimote in the direction of the desired base (it's easier to just use the D-Pad, works the same), but the game is far more responsive and provides more actual game play than Wii Baseball.
2K sports picked up where Madden 07 left off by utilizing the Wiimote in every aspect of game play. Turn your wrist in different directions and press different buttons to throw a combined 9 pitches. Also increase or decrease hand speed to throw faster or slower pitches. Use the analog stick, swing angle, and timing to aim your swing while batting (not just timing like Wii Baseball). And, swing your arms wildly to round the bases in record time, and even smash into the catcher to knock the ball loose in dramatic plays at the plate.
The fielding is by far the most difficult part of the game, and while it's possible, it seems much too difficult at times. This is the only major problem with the game play, but it allows for even more improvement and reward when mastered.
