Unfortunately it was just OK

I had REALLY anticipated this game, and orginally was going to purchase the bundle. Due to the lack of $250 extra dollars eating a whole in my pocket, I settled for the rental option, and boy am I really happy I did that. I don't want to give the wrong impression. I liked the game, but thought it was nowhere near worth paying $250 for a new bundle. Graphically the game is quite stunning. It was difficult to not watch the videos and backgrounds while playing. Now the music is great music, but bottom line, it's not the type of music that is designed for a musical rythm game like RB or GH. In fact the first 3 or 4 chapters were pretty boring, because there weren't alot of notes to hit in those songs. I like the Beatles and their music and I liked the game....but I don't believe it's even worth a $60 buy let alone a $250. I guess for those super die hard fans it's well worth the money, but for someone like me, who is very diverse in the types of games he plays, it's only worth a rental. If you have to buy either Beatles or GH5...go with GH5, at least you'll get GHVH free later on.
