Motion Picture Money Cow

Games like this are the reason why you should never buy or rent a game fashioned after a motion picture. I had a conversation with my Nana whilst playing this game, full eye contact hitting only attack and evade. I didn't die, but my hope for a good spider-man game did. I played this game for about 30 mins and decided the game itself wasn't even good enough for coaster for my knock off mountain dew...why do they hate spider-man so much?

Remeber when you were swinging through Manhatan, collecting items, defeating baddies, and just enjoying the view?! Well now you can do it again in the newest and probably the greatest(yet) spiderman game in the world!!

~Free roaming
~Replayable levels
~Just be happy your spiderman
~Sky-swinging(giant boss battles in Manhatan would be impossible without this, so be gratefull)
~Great graphics
~Counter attacks(FINALLY!!)
~Spiderman amazing new moves
~SOOO many things to do even if you've beaten the game
~Amazing first-person cutscenes
~First person deaths
~Tons of collectibals

~This game makes you figure out where you have to go
~LOOOOOW LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
~You can spend hours not knowing what to do or where to go

A great game with just a few errors. Definitely worth a rent and even a buy. Consider everything I listed above.
Have fun!

Not so amazing

Although decent in it's own right, it lacks the control that should make a Spider-Man game great. Spider-Man 2 was awesome because you got to control how you swung through the city, not just picking a place to go and pressing a button.

Combat is very repetitive and broken up into quick-time events and pre-mapped combat moves that are achieved at the press of a button. I wish I could fight my way instead of doing it how the game wants me to do it, especially in a Spider-Man game.

Also, the game tells you how to do EVERYTHING! Too much hand-holding is complete turn-on and one that shouldn't be in a game at all.

All-in-all, I'm glad I only rented this title instead of paying full price. The lack of player control, and hand-holding in this game isn't ideal. Again, this game is only worth a rent.
